Phase 1 – the basis
- Inventory the information required from the abstract handling process before, during and after the event and specify, in consultation with the client, a number of parameters.
- Draw–up an abstract handling schedule/planning based on the above points.
Phase 2 – the execution
- Set-up the database
- Set-up the abstract form, review form and all the related correspondence
- Download and check the abstracts and correspondence with the authors
- Allocate the abstracts to the reviewers and process the review scores
- Notify the authors of the outcome of the review
- Tell the session Chairmen which abstracts will be in each session
- Compile the on-line scientific programme
