Fascination for vaccination

On 2 July 2009 Prof. dr. Ben van der Zeijst, Scientific Director, and Dr. Rudy Burgmeijer, Medical Information & Drug Safety Officer, retired from the Netherlands Vaccination Institute both having reached pensionable age.
The NVI asked NewBrooklyn to organise a farewell symposium ‘FASCINATION FOR VACCINATION’ in the Royal Tropical Institute (Koninklijk Instituut voor de Tropen) in Amsterdam. In addition to the invitees other interested people were able, for a small fee, to register on-line for the farewell symposium and the reception. The symposium was attended by around 400 people.

Flusecure

In 2008, during a lightning visit to Bucharest, NewBrooklyn set up the organisation of the three-day FLUSECURE 2008 meeting (50 people) in the Cantacuzino institute, including making all the arrangements with hotels, restaurants and the institute. After NewBrooklyn left Bucharest all the participants were asked to register on-line, provide information regarding their arrival and departure times and reserve their hotel accommodation. NewBrooklyn drew-up an on-site scenario for the client that included all the necessary information. In consultation with the client it was agreed NewBrooklyn would not be present during the meeting.

NewBrooklyn was also given responsibility for the total organisation of the FLUSECURE 2010 meeting in the Netherlands.
